A 5.8 kg, ten-section tactical antenna mast that raises HF antennas to a 6.1 m working height for rapid-deployment voice and data, wherever a patrol needs to establish communications.
Light enough to carry on the patrol and quick enough to raise without a vehicle or a crew, ten high tensile aluminium sections slide together into a single mast. The Man-Portable Mast, 6m weighing only 5.8 kg enables communications to be deployed by a single operator, so communications come up at the speed the mission moves.
Compatible across the full Codan tactical HF antenna range, the Man-Portable Mast, 6m is adaptable to the equipment your teams already carry.
Rated for operation from -30°C to +60°C and engineered to hold in winds up to 110 km/hr, the Man-Portable Mast, 6m stands through the conditions a field deployment encounters. A 3 m guy radius and 4 mm polyester fibre guy ropes, tensioned through quick-release shuttles, keep the mast stable under load. Every metal part, down to the tube sections, is blackened to cut visual signature and reduce the chance of detection in the field, keeping your operations covert.
Ten slide-together sections raise to 6.1 m. One operator, no vehicle or tools required.
5.8 kg mast, 6.5 kg packed, 750 mm packed length. Carried on the patrol.
Carries the full 25 W Patrol Manpack range and the 125 W TAC 411 Broadband antenna.
Blackened high tensile aluminium throughout, tube sections included, to reduce detection.
Operates from -30°C to +60°C. Holds in winds up to 110 km/hr when correctly anchored.
3 m guy radius, 4 mm polyester guys, quick-release tensioning shuttles. 12 kg maximum head load.
A 6.1 m height supports near vertical incidence skywave coverage for short-range work across terrain.

| Note | When used with the 6 m man-portable mast, the 78-01302 TAC 411 antenna is optimised for NVIS (short-distance) operation. For medium to long-distance operation the TAC 411 is recommended for use with a 10 m mast, e.g. the Codan 78-13036 Transportable Mast. |
The Man-Portable Mast, 6m gives teams a 6.1 m tactical antenna mast that one operator can carry and raise in minutes. The mast is compatible across the full Codan HF antenna range and operates through conditions from -30°C to +60°C. For patrols that need their antennas up fast and held steady wherever the mission takes them, the Man-Portable Mast, 6m is the field-proven mast that keeps communications connected when it matters most.
