Coordinating a surveillance commander with sniper and spotter teams is a challenge for traditional communications links, especially across urban canyons and inside multi-storey buildings where legacy links are low data rate, unreliable or insecure.

DTC’s MeshUltra waveform provides MANET IP connectivity for the secure exchange of Full Motion Video, two-way audio, GPS and Cursor on Target data. Purpose-built scope cameras stream HD video (1920×1080 at 25fps) from the spotter’s and sniper’s optics while preserving eye relief, and the excellent non-line-of-sight properties of COFDM let each radio relay through buildings as a repeater node.
