The 3032 Crosspatch is a compact HF crosspatch gateway that bridges HF and land mobile radio networks at under 50 mA, extending range through beyond line of sight HF links.

When VHF and UHF coverage stops at the horizon, HF can carry the link further. The 3032 Crosspatch patches land mobile radio traffic onto Codan HF networks, helping teams maintain operational awareness across wider areas. DTMF tones or simple Push-To-Talk sequences can initiate calls and control key HF radio functions, including channel selection, vocoder rate, and encryption state.

Interoperability is built into the design. The 3032 supports Codan Selcall, 2G and 3G ALE, analogue HF voice, and Codan Digital Voice in encrypted and non-encrypted modes. Software-configurable interfaces support Codan HF software-defined radios and selected third-party VHF/UHF radios, with configuration handled through Codan Crosspatch Programming Software.

Remote and mobile operations need equipment that can handle harsh conditions without adding load to the system. Drawing less than 50 mA at 13.8 V DC, the 3032 Crosspatch is suited to vehicle installations and low-power deployments.
