Built on a high-performance DSP, FPGA, and system-on-chip architecture, the Envoy HF radio transceiver accepts new waveforms, calling standards, and encryption schemes through software download. No depot return. No logistics overhead. Field teams stay current through the full programme life.
IP-based architecture separates the Envoy RF unit. Operable from up to four remote control points with NMEA-0183 GPS receivers; long-range HF voice and data reach where no terrestrial or satellite system can, giving teams the confidence to communicate anywhere, at any time, without depending on infrastructure that may not be available. In coalition and joint operations, platforms rarely match. Envoy ensures interoperability across all major platforms in theatre. Automatic link management selects the best available channel without operator input, allowing the network to adapt as the mission continues.
Qualified from -30 to +60 °C with frequency stability of +/- 0.3 ppm, Envoy is compliant with CE, NTIA, FCC, and Australian AS/NZS standards. AES-256, CES-128, and CIVS encryption options secure all voice and data traffic.
