The FLYK-125 is a transportable HF radio system built on the Codan Envoy X2 software defined radio, delivering 125 W secure voice and data over 1.6 to 30 MHz from a rugged airline compatible case.
Rapid deployment should not mean reduced capability. Built into a rugged transport case, the FLYK-125 delivers full Envoy X2 SDR performance in a self-contained package that can operate as a mobile or base station HF transceiver. A colour, multi-lingual interface and USB Smartloader keep operation simple, while dual USB charging supports tablets, laptops, and smartphones in the field.
Remote and coalition operations need secure communications that connect cleanly with wider networks. The platform supports ALE, 3G ALE, MIL-STD data, AES-256 voice and data encryption, CES-128 voice encryption, MELPe, and Codan Digital Voice. It can interface with external crypto devices, tablets, laptops, Codan RIOS, and optional SmartLink Wi-Fi for control through Codan Xtend or Virtual Control Point.
Field teams need power flexibility when infrastructure is unavailable. The system operates from AC mains, external DC, or an internal sealed Gelcell battery for short-term backup. With splash-proof sealing when closed and latched, surge and voltage protection, over-temperature protection, and stable operation from -30°C to +60°C, it is built for demanding transportable communications roles.
125 W PEP plus or minus 1 dB (two-tone or voice), user-programmable, across a 1.6 to 30 MHz transmit range.
