NETNode RM

IP MESH RADIO

From 2W to 30W, three NETNode RM radios extend one self-healing mesh network across tactical and unmanned deployments.

DTC builds the NETNode RM for teams who need a mesh network that scales with the mission, not against it. Three radios. One architecture. The 2x15W-5RH pushes power to the outer edge of the network. The 2x5W-5RM carries that same mesh into vehicles and robotics platforms. The 2x2W-5RM Tri-Band adds frequency agility across L-band, S-band, and C-band, all from a single housing.

Each radio interlocks with the others. Nodes from any variant join the same self-forming, self-healing mesh, scaling to 144 nodes depending on mode. Programme planners mix power levels and frequency bands on one network without redesigning it for every deployment.

Range and bandwidth needs change by mission, not by manufacturer preference. NETNode RM radios run MIMO capability and adaptive modulation across all three variants, holding data capacity up to 90Mbps in a 20MHz channel. The Tri-Band variant goes further still, packing L-band, S-band, and C-band into one unit so planners stop carrying separate radios for separate frequency plans. DTC reinvests 12% of revenue into R&D to keep this kind of flexibility moving, not standing still.

Large networks need equipment that connects without forcing a full rebuild. All three NETNode RM radios are interoperable with DTC Phase 3 and Phase 4 mesh systems, so in-field upgrades and mixed-fleet deployment stay simple. Dual HD video encoding, Ethernet, serial data, camera control, GPS positioning, and Mission Commander integration run across the . The Tri-Band variant adds 4G backhaul, extending the network past the mesh itself for citywide and multi-hop robotics operations.

Mobile and unmanned operations don't pause for weather. Every NETNode RM radio is sealed to IP66 and rated for operation from -20°C to +50°C, fit for vehicle and robotics platforms alike. Store-and-forward recording protects video if a link drops. DES comes standard. AES128 and AES256 are available by license, accredited to FIPS140-2 for MeshUltra waveforms (a distinction that matters when the network has to hold under pressure).

Choosing the Right NETNode RM Variant

Three NETNode RM radios share one self-forming, self-healing mesh architecture. Mix power levels and frequency bands on a single network - from the 30W 2x15W-5RH at the network edge to the tri-band 2x2W-5RM for spectrum agility.

MISSION OUTCOME

NETNode RM gives programme planners one mesh architecture across three power and frequency profiles. The 2x15W-5RH extends the network to its outer edge. The 2x5W-5RM carries that network into vehicles and unmanned platforms. The 2x2W-5RM Tri-Band adds the spectrum agility to hold the mesh together when conditions shift. Together, they form a single tactical backbone that scales from one node to 144, wherever the mission moves.
