MeshUltra-X, the waveform behind that network, manages channels and encryption over the air and scales automatically as teams join or drop. In a meshed network, the SDR-H2 carries up to 16 voice talk groups in full-duplex VOX while streaming IP, HD video, and Cursor on Target situational awareness to the command picture. Ground operators mesh automatically with UAVs, unmanned ground vehicles, maritime assets, and fixed infrastructure nodes, because every radio runs the same MeshUltra-X core. Cursor on Target output feeds straight into Battle Management Systems, so the position and video an operator generates reaches the people who act on it. Three dedicated input and output ports, in different rugged formats, let the same unit serve as an airborne, UGV, or infrastructure node as readily as a handheld radio.
Sealed to IP68 and rated from -20 °C to +60 °C, the SDR-H2 is designed to meet MIL-STD-810G for shock, vibration, and environmental stress. DTC's Interference Avoidance System and operation in bandwidths down to 1.25 MHz hold the link together in congested and contested spectrum, where fixed-channel radios fail. Built around the SDR-C core, already proven across DTC's mesh and point-to-point COFDM radios, the SDR-H2 brings that field record into a soldier-radio form factor.
